MESSAGE REGARDING
COVID-19
Dear Reader:
Thank you very much for your interest in the Travel Guide to Canada and
your appreciation of Canada as a world-class tourism destination.
Our initial plan to release this 2020-2021 edition in May was delayed by the
pandemic.
Now that society is beginning to get back to normal and the tourism industry
is reopening, we are pleased to release the 2020-2021 Travel Guide to Canada.
We recognize that many of the annual events and festivals, as well as tourism
sites and attractions, may not be available this summer of 2020, so we urge
all travellers to check with specific organizations and destinations prior to
actual visits. To assist with this research, within the guide, we include links
to many destinations and tour operators. We anticipate that festivals and
events will fully resume by 2021.
Canada is an incredible place to experience and we are confident that the
tourism industry will be ready to welcome you.
If you are visiting Canada during 2020, or plan to do so in 2021, enjoy your
trip and please check for travel advisories that may be in effect at that time.
